Yes. A sozni karigar covers a few square inches a day at this stitch density. The craft record ships with the shawl, naming the artisan and the start–finish dates.

Will the dense embroidery stiffen the drape?

Good sozni does not — stitches are counted into the weave's surface, keeping the fall supple. That suppleness is precisely the difference between master work and market work.
