Question 1

What is a lohi shawl?

Accepted Answer

A lohi is the full-size men's shawl of Punjab and North India — traditionally plain wool in natural tones, worn over sherwanis, bandhgalas and winter suits. Ours start at ₹4,999 in pure wool, honestly labelled, rising to pure pashmina versions.

Question 2

What is a dushala?

Accepted Answer

A dushala ('do-shala', twin shawl) is an oversized men's shawl of roughly 140 × 280 cm, draped across both shoulders. It is the classic groom's and patriarch's wedding drape, and our pashmina dushala with zari palla is the category's centrepiece.

Question 3

Are these mens shawls real pashmina?

Accepted Answer

The pieces marked PURE are — GI-certified 100% Changthangi pashmina, handwoven in Srinagar. The lohis at ₹4,999–6,499 are pure wool or merino and say so plainly; the semi pashmina states its blend ratio. No piece here borrows the word 'pashmina' it hasn't earned.

Question 4

How does a man wear a shawl with a suit or sherwani?

Accepted Answer

Fold lengthwise to a half-width band and lay it over one shoulder, or drape a dushala across both shoulders with the palla forward. Charcoal and deodar tones sit naturally over Western suits; ivory with zari suits wedding wear.
