100% pure pashmina — GI-marked, handwoven in Srinagar.

GI-certified pashmina is 100% pure Changthangi cashmere, handspun and handwoven in Srinagar and verified under India's Geographical Indication mark — the only label that legally guarantees real pashmina. This collection is our pure tier only: solid, ombre and zari-border shawls, featherlight ring shawls, stoles and mufflers, each listing micron count, weave and origin, with a GI certificate you can verify by QR. No blends, no "cashmina" — just pashmina.

Questions

About gi-certified pure pashmina

How do I verify a pashmina is genuinely GI-certified?

Every pure piece ships with its GI certificate and a QR code — scan it to verify the certificate number against the official Kashmir Pashmina GI registry before you even unwrap the shawl.

What does GI-certified pure pashmina cost?

Pure pashmina stoles start around ₹6,999 and full shawls around ₹11,999; kani, jamawar and sozni pieces go higher. Anything labelled "pashmina" far below this is almost always a blend or viscose.

Is pashmina the same as cashmere?

Pashmina is the finest grade of cashmere — 12–15 micron fibre from Ladakh's Changthangi goats, handwoven in Kashmir. The GI mark protects exactly this: fibre, fineness and place of craft.

Are there any blends in this collection?

No. This collection is our PURE tier only. Semi-pashmina blends and fine wool exist in our range, but they are always disclosed and listed separately — never here.
